Default A cottage on Georgian Bay

In Canada we are blessed with an abundance of beautiful, remote, freshwater lakes carved from the Canadian Shield. There are many different interpretations of cottage living, and each one has its own charm. Whether it's a cabin in the woods or a grand estate, there is no singular definition of what makes a cottage. One element is constant, though a cottage is where we Canadians go to enjoy the all-too-brief magic of summer.

I think this is one version of the Canadian Dream. The rock is important to it.

The views are beautiful, and the cottage itself isn't bad. I guess maybe because it's more cream color inside and not stark white.

Don't like the interior but the outside is romantic.

I LOVE that place. I think the furniture is boring, but I would move in to that place in a heartbeat.

Normally that furniture wouldn't be my style, but I like it. It's got such beautiful views. Sigh...maybe someday.

For that size and condition on Georgian Bay? I'd guess at least $400K, possibly closer to a million.

Meh, it's not doing it for me. It looks pretty far north too, judging by the amount of rock. I don't want to really have to drive more than 4 hours to get to my cottage. Doesn't really seem to have a dock or easy swimming access. Sorry, I'm a downer, we're investigating cottages, so I'm probably over-thinking this.
