    Default Middle East meets Asian

A home near Egypt's Lake Fayum. Elegant and textured, I love the colors and the feel of this place. The slideshow at the NYTimes has descriptions. Not so sure about the dining room...

I really like it. It actually looks like a home-not just a house. Warm and comfy.

    it's gorgeous.

the only thing that looks strange to me are the tiles in the kitchen. they remind me of older nw-european tiles (the thin blue line on white and the flowery pattern). i think they're really beautiful but they look slightly out of context here.

I don't care for any of it.
