Waking up during surgery is more common than you think

I'm not sure you could. Really I think the only parts of your body you can move is your arms and your head. You probably couldn't reach the sheet.

No it's fine when you're awake, really - I've had it twice, I was terrified the first one, to the point I thought till the last minute that I would run away from the operation table, but it went really well -

I was cool the second time but this time they didn't put the tube down well and didn't listen to me when I was trying to gesture to have it pulled back when I was gagging...they couldn't think it was their fault of course but mine for not being sufficiently relaxed - anyway even when it's bad you survive it

Endoscopy? Were they looking at your stomach? Because I had it done and I was semi out during. They give you very little. Just enough to make you sleepy.
