I for one would love to be the size/weight I used to...about 30 pounds lighter. I think I looked better and I know I felt better. But... I don't feel anywhere near as bad about myself as I might have if I were this size and ten years younger. All things considered, I think I look pretty damned good. I wasted way too many of my younger years thinking I was "fat" or always needed improving upon (when I was actually adorable) just because there was always someone hotter or skinnier out there. There probably was a time when I would have thought I'd rather be dead than 30 pounds overweight. And now that just seems stupid beyond words.

I actually envy the people who didn't/don't have to go through the bullshit I did to get to a point where they feel good about themselves.

tic-tacs are actually mints even though i used to eat an entire box of the orange ones in about 3 minutes as a child because they tasted like candy.

Tic-tacs used to be marketed as a diet candy--I can vaguely remember the ad campaign; something about having only 1 1/2 calories each?
