My counsellor rang me and spoke to me for an hour, because I was feeling bad. She said I can ring her anytime.

I think I am in the clear for now.. my mood has been up this week. Huzzah!
That said, I have been having panic attacks. It's like when depression doesn't have my by the short and curlies, it's fricken anxiety.

Honey, I like talking to my therapist on the phone too. Sometimes i find it easier than being face-to-face.

yeah if you have a chemical imbalance, talking isn't going to cure that, you need medicinal intervention and i swear its sooooooooooooooooo refreshing and awesome not to be crying over stupid shit and letting ppl and things and thoughts get me down...

Alice, did the doctor say you had an imbalance? What kind of tests did you have done for that? Because when i first saw a dr, he asked me if had trouble sleeping and i said yes and he gave me pills for that but i really want tests done. I haven't been getting my period so i think something is wrong. How were you diagnosed?

oh damn! no i didnt get any tests so who knows, it can be from environment too as well as outside sources or learned behaviour or genetics so i didn't get tests done and i dont know for sure except that it doesn't seem to run in my family BUT i'd be worried too a little if i stopped getting my period so i think you should get tested.

yeah its almost like I'm afraid to be happy b/c i've been in a very dark place for so long and I think some ppl in my life don't want to see me beaming either but I'm much better off. The depression can be comforting, but in actuality its a scary trap that isn't normal or right.
