Weeklong headaches

so i got this headache last week and it still hasn't gone away. is that bad? does anyone else get these?

It could be a serious migraine or worse. You should see the doctor for a check-up, as well as a scan of you brain if necessary.

yeah you might check it out, i had a few of these back in grade 8. don't want to scare you but they thought it might be tumors. turned out it was mono though

but it's something you should go to the doctor about, it's not something you should treat on your own.

They are terrible. I don't advocate taking too many pills either. Done that once and nearly passed out from all of them. Tell your Doc. Other than that lay down in a darkened room with eye patches on if you have to and try to sleep it off.

Where on your head does it hurt?

Top, sides, one side, back the neck, behind the eyes?
Combo?

Migraines are tricky as the headach is one of many symptoms.

Do you have sensitivity to light?
Sick to your stomach?

Not to be too personal but how's your cycle? Mine decided to come 2 and 1/2 weeks early this month with a headache since last week (before I started) that would otherwise be unexplainable. It could be hormonal, if not, check with the doctor.
