I feel high after my workout
It was awesome. I went to 24 Hour Fitness down the road. I warmed up on the treadmill for 10 mins at 3mph, then did the elliptical at level 5 for 32 minutes. I had to stop because I was getting a stitch in my side; my goal was to go for 40 minutes. I've never been so sweaty in my life, but I had such a BUZZ when I was done. My muscles are now deliciously tired. I may be sore when I wake up tomorrow, but if that's the case I'll just do a brisk treadmill walk for an hour instead of busting ass on the elliptical.
I love going to the gym.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the best feeling ever. My favorite is when I'm running and it's really starting to burn and I think "this is it; here comes the floaty feeling" so I push myself a little harder and my lungs feel like they're on fire and my head gets all toasty... kind of like when I take a massive bong hit only this is legal and healthy.

Yup love that feeling of exercise high, those lovely endorphins. I usually only get it after intense cardio. Whenever I do resistance training, the "high" I get comes later from the soreness which tells me I had a good workout.

Oh yeah, who needs drugs when you can get endorphins for free! I LOVE the workout high, and it's good for you!

I got the workout high again today; I did manage to do 10 mins on the treadmill and 40 on the elliptical. I sweated buckets. Once I get into the "zone" I just keep going. My legs were buckling by the time I got off the machine; I think maybe I did a little too much but my legs feel fine now.

I'm so jealous of you people. The only way I'd run like that is if a lion were chasing me. And then, I might just sit down and let it eat me. I'll bet you all have nice legs!

Getting there! Despite living in Europe for years (and not owning a car for several of them), I gained weight while living there. I never had perfect legs (cursed with cellulite) even when I weighed 100 lbs so I have realistic expectations. They're getting better and firmer though. My butt is getting firmer too. I can't stop feeling it.

The feeling after a great workout session is truly the best feeling after.
I absolutely LOVE that feeling.
You feel like you can kick someone's ass (at least, I do)

I know, it really is like a drug. And it makes me happier I've noticed. If I don't workout, I get sluggish and depressed.

^I was just about to say the same thing. I feel totally crappy if I stop working
out for too many days. I feel so much more energetic, confident, and happier
when I do. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I love that workout high too. But some days, I prefer the lazy, vino high to the biking high.
