I've been feeling dizzy/faint lately?
what could be the reasons?
am I paranoid? or could it be from all the stress in my life right now??
never had that problem before, but sometimes I seriously think i'm gonna pass out at work lately, like I said before i have gained about 7lbs in a short period maybe its because of that?
any thoughts?
ayudame por favor

Anemia can cause that feeling, especially if you get up too fast. However, I don't think weight gain is a factor in this condition.

I would guess anemia as well. Take some iron or eat spinach, dark green veggies. If it keeps up, see a doc!

Re: I've been feeling dizzy/faint lately?
It could be your stress (which also might have led you to gain weight).
I'd suggest quitting all kinds of drugs (if you take any) and smoking, too.
I've just had a panic attack yesterday and I'm soo freaked out about taking any medication now (I think it was the tylenol 3 that I took for my back pain plus I had taken some cold medication earlier).
I'm trying to quit smoking, I've cut down to about half. And I'm going to quit caffein, too. I still feel nervous and all jittery...
If you feel tired and don't have energy, there are a couple of other supplements you can take. e.g. royal jelly and ginseng.

Sounds like chronic fatigue to me. But don't rely on our diagnoses. Go see a doctor, girl!

How stressed are you? High blood pressure can cause dizziness and faint feelings. You don't have to be older to suffer from it, either.

Re: I've been feeling dizzy/faint lately?
It could definitely be stress. I am changing jobs in the New Year and I know they have high expectations of me and am crapping myself. In addition my inlaws are coming for three weeks (THREE WEEKS - COUNT 'EM!!) at Christmas, and I am wound up about the shopping and cooking and wtf are we going to DO with them for all that time? I keep feeling very lightheaded, with butterflies and tingly fingers. I know it will pass, but I am trying to keep calm, and do lots of exercise to counteract all the chocolate I am eating.
Hope you are OK.

Are you making sure your eating enough of the right foods, sometimes you can get stuck in a rut with some foods and your body starts lacking certain vitamins that it needs to stay strong and alert.
I think this has been mentioned but anemia is low iron in the blood, I had slight anemia when I was younger and had to have iron tablets, you should go visit your doctor just to be sure.

Good point tiki. This may sound gross but if you take iron don’t be alarmed if your stool looks black.

Re: I've been feeling dizzy/faint lately?
I'd say anemia too. I have the same problem, today I went to get my blood analyzed, I'll have the results on Monday. I had anemia a couple of years ago, it's quite easy to get rid of it with the iron tablets... although if that's what it is, this time I want to go back to normal with what I eat... the side effects of the iron tablets are indeed unpleasant.

Re: I've been feeling dizzy/faint lately?
no blood tests! I'm too scared to find out if I have something terminal!!! I say that i'd rather not know if I had something b/c then I'd spend all my time and energy preoccupied w/ it instead of living life & its mind over matter and so my policy is, "I'd rather not know if I have something serious" exept cancer; cause I could kick its butt!
