Breast reduction without surgery
Is it possible? I am fairly thin, 120lbs, and have 34d breasts. I want to reduce my breasts without surgery, is this possible? I can't wear anything. Shopping for clothes is a nightmare. I have to buy large tops that are big in the shoulders, arms and waist, but snug on the chest. Are there excercises or anything out there that could help me reduce them naturally. Help. Frustrated and desperate.

Quick answer - No. Sorry. I wouldn't say 34D is huge, but it may seem that way if you have a small frame and a narrow back. I sympathise about buying clothes that fit but there's really not much you can do apart from surgery and frankly unless your boobs are around your knees or a G-cup you may not find a doctor prepared to do a reduction. It's a BIG operation. I had BIG boobs (36F) and had reduction surgery 7 years ago. It was a good decision but even now I'm a D-cup. Anything smaller would have looked out of proportion.

I've heard that running is bad for girls who want to KEEP their breast size so maybe it might work if you want yours to be smaller? (since like AO said 34D isn't all that big). For someone with much bigger boobies, I'd say surgery is the way to go.
How about a sports bra as something just temporary to sorta squish them, might be uncomfortable n stuff though.

yeah def not gonna happen. I had a reduction when I was 19 and have never regretted it.
Running wont reduce them though, they will stretch them - but at that size all that will really happen will the skin will stay the same even if the fat goes from them.

I know a doctor won't do it. They are nice, just out of proportion with my body. For the life of me I will never figure out why women get those monster implants. 34D feels like big ol' melons to me. Clothes are a nightmare. If I wear a fitted top, the middle button near the breast is hanging on for dear life and you get that opening. If I wear a large top to fit my breasts, than it makes me look top heavy and pregnant. Aaarrghh! Thanks for the respones.

I have a friend with the same problem. What she ends up doing is just buying the larger size and spending the money on alterations so the shirt ends up fitted and looks good. It may be extra money, but the fact she has a wardrobe that fits makes up for it.

Yes. Change your body composition by gaining muscle and losing fat. This works for lots of people. It's also one of the few complaints of very fit/athletic women. Many bemoan the smaller boobs that often goes with lowered bodyfat levels.

I definitely bemoan the smaller boobs that come with running and exercise
I used to be a 36C and sometimes a 38C, which I was quite happy with. Now, through major rowing, my chest/back size has expanded but my boobs have shrunk. I'm a 38 "nearly b". So depressing.
So, try rowing! My boobs shrank!

I don't think it's going to happen. You may be able to lose a little bit of breast tissue, but that won't help matters if your breasts are already pendulous.
I had a reduction almost two years ago and went from a 36F to a 36C. It was the best decision I ever made.

I would have thought losing weight would decrease bust size as well, but if you dont want to lose weight in other part of your body, i can see that would be a problem.

Losing weight really isn't going to help. I'm already at 120 and my natural skinny weight is about 116. My body won't go less than that. So, there isn't much for me to lose. I was just hoping some excercises would reduce them magically! A girl can dream, no?

That's why losing fat as opposed to overall bodyweight is better. But it's more work, takes longer, and quite often the result will net (at least initially) an overall gain in actual bodyweight.
The majority of people trying to make changes in their bodies either do it by dieting, aerobic forms of exercise, or some combination of the two.
Frustration often results because even when people manage to successfully lose weight, they still "look" the same; some body part/s too small or big in relation to others. When they lose too much weight or lose weight the wrong way, they lose muscle mass as well, compounding the problem (not to mention just asking for rebound weight gain with more of it being fat that will be distributed to whatever areas of their body are favored for this based upon their genetics).
Weights are the only way to make any true significant change in your body's actual shape, as opposed to merely size. I've certainly seen it done enough times (and fairly easily in regard to women and breast tissue). Not to mention experienced it personally.

I read somewhere about some bra's that do the trick, they minimize breasts, but they look like granny bra's! Maybe you could do a search on them i don't know much about it.
