Yeah, pretty scary but very very realistic.

What is the deficiency that makes you get the dark splinters under your nails? I have dark splinter like thing on my toe, and as my nail grows the dark object grows along with it and after a month or so, it finally goes away, but it shows up again.

I have NO IDEA what this can be!

I think this is what happened to me when I moved out by myself this year to Chicago. My fridge was perpetually bare other than condiments, no real food, and only a pitcher of water to drink. When I felt I could afford groceries, I'd then splurge on Uno's frozen pizzas, fudge stripe cookies, caramel bars, or the same pint of coffee-chocolate chip ice cream. I didn't have ALL those symptoms, but most of them, yeah, for five months. I had to start taking vitamins and when my then-new boyfriend saw what was happening he brought me fruits and sushi every night.

Restless Leg Syndrome is such a crock! Its just another way for pharmacutical companies to market crap medication and make $ off of it!

My husband has that and it doesn't wake him up but it wakes me up when he's tap-dancing all over the place. It's very irritating!

Hijack: I cant wait till the next Micheal Moore film about how Pharmacutical companies want us all to think we're "sick" to buy more pills for such nonsense! I'm totally off pill, as much as I loved to mix my meds w/ wine back in the day, I just won't give them the pleasure anymore...its all vitamins now for me and the occasional wine for health reasons of coarse

My mom has RLS and it is not a crock. Her legs actually twitch so much that she can't sleep at night. She was told by her Dr. that it is tied to seasonal depression (get's worse in the winter) and a vitamin defiency. It has something to do with your Neurotransmitters misfiring during the deep RAM sleep.
