Default New weight loss product - PGX

Has anyone ever heard of this? Some people on a message board I frequent were raving about it, so I went and got some today.

PGX is a revolutionary fiber blend that reduces appetite by expanding in your stomach as water is consumed. The brand I am using is Natural Factors SlimStyles. It is available in powder, capsules, or as a diet shake mix. I am using the fiber powder, which I mixed with Crystal Light.

Today is my first day using the product, so I'll let you know how it goes. The people who were raving about it said that it makes you feel really full, so you have no appetite. I am trying to lose weight (I'd like to lose about 7 more, already lost 10), but the problem I am having is that I have a voracious appetite, especially when I'm exercising regularly. I even try to eat the fiber rich foods like whole grains and veggies and I'm just not satisfied. So anyway, I thought I'd try this product.

The only problem is that you have to drink tons and tons of water I am already drinking 4 bottles a day due to the colon cleansing I am doing. I think today I am on bottle number 6 due to this product.

Anyone used this? What did you think?

Never heard of it. Did you read the ingredients at all?? Not that any of us could pronounce half the ingredients. Just be careful I guess....but definitely keep us in the loop.
The colon cleansing you are doing--is that the cayenne pepper/honey one?

I am extrememly interested in getting my hands on some Hoodia....heard that is the SHIT. But, very very hard to come by (the real stuff) and that pisses me off. Will need it next year after the baby....ugh.

No, the colon cleansing I am doing is drnatura Colonix. I haven't had anything crazy come out *yet*, but I have to say that after years of "stomach problems" I now go approx. 3 times within the first hour and a half of waking, and it is very comfortable, no sudden urges and just the right consistency. TMI, I know. But I have a long history of IBS. I remember many nights of painful pushing with no results, more pain than I had when I was in labor, and then followed by loose stools. It was awful. And I would have "bathroom attacks" at some of the worst times! I clogged a toilet one time in the middle of the night while on vacation with a group of friends. How embarrassing!

So I would say the Colonix has been well worth it for me.

Hoodia, there is only one company that has the patent, and they haven't put a product in the marketplace yet. The products that claim to have it, are lying. I researched it a while back. When I get a chance I'll try to post where I found that info.
