Does anyone have any opinions or experiences using either of these products?
I am thinking of trying it, and I am leaning towards Diva,
Ms Keeper Thing's pic scared me!

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I am thinking of trying it. (Diva) I don't mean to brag but I can't get the big tampons up me without pain so I use the tiny junior things and they run out in 2 hours or less! I abhore the idea of leaks!

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I'm way too chicken to try anything like this. I'll stick to extra-absorbant tampons, thanks.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I'm sorry, but that's just gross. Is that thing meant to "catch" the blood? And then you're supposed to pull it out and empty it and rinse and reuse? OMG, ewww. Imagine the mess.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I have girlfriends that go camping a lot and apparently even under camping conditions, The Keeper is mess free and convenient (once you know how to use it obviously).
I won't lie, the prospect of spilling a cup of blood everywhere is truly frightening. Tampons are idiot proof, but I hear they aren't the best thing for you. I think a lot of it is bull, I checked out the asbestos claims (you know in those threatening emails) and it's completely untrue. There is no asbestos in tampon. They leave you at risk for Toxic Shock but I think it's pretty rare. But at any rate, it does reduce waste and is reusable. I guess it's just something I'd have to ease myself into the idea of.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
Tampons are "bad" because they absorb a lot of liquid, including the natural moisture within the hooha.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I had a Keeper for years and I loved it. Once you learn to use the Keeper it is much less bother than tampons and pads.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
^^Why did you stop using it?
I would seriously consider trying it, but have been having such heavy periods lately with lots of large clots (tmi, I know ) so not sure if it would be good for me.

No more use for it. I had a hysterectomy three years ago.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I've been using the Diva Cup for some six months now, it's just great!!!
No more dry punani because of the tampons
Plus you don't feel it once it's inside and it's really easy to use and to rinse clean. I highly recommend it

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I used it a long time and never had leakage problems. I used to have very heavy flows too, heavy enough that I'd flood a pad quickly but it never overwhelmed teh Keeper

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I've been wanting to buy one of these for MONTHS. I really like the idea. For cleanliness, for less shit in the landfill/sewage system, for a more 'pleasant' period, if that's possible. I really like hearing that people have used them successfully.

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
I think is a good idea, but please only use it in the privacy of your own bathroom!!! I saw a woman at a rest area come out of the bathroom stall and empty and rinse it out in the sink. The water in the sink was all pink, it was so disgusting!!!

Re: The Diva Cup/The Keeper
No leaking, no smell, no garbage, and yes I keep it from morning to evening if I don't have access to a clean restroom.
You fold it in half to insert it, it's not THAT big
