Add your name and book choice here! Let's hope we can get this thing running on track third time around!
@ Tati - I nominate you as Queen Of The Book Club (serves you right for being a Mod). Your decisions are final.
Also, it would be great if Pickers could list their book picks ASAP so we can order and read in advance if necessary. I have to order all my books from Amazon.com because book prices in Australia are absolutely outrageous. It's much cheaper to order them online from the US and have then delivered half way across the world believe it or not. Lord knows what the carbon footprint is!

Mel1973 - The School of Essential Ingredients - Erica Bauermeister
And yes, we need to get the list together of reading material. So - A*O is March with The Ghost
McJag is April (pick a damned book already)
and I am May with The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister.
They're both proud drunks, they're both proud sluts and they're both proud wearers of thirsty weaves. They both probably think that the other one is swallowing up the entire world's supply of vodka, peen and yellow weaves. Michael K (re Brandi & Chelsea)

Muahahaha, I'm totally nominating Anathem, by Neal Stephenson. It's huge, but I'm not up till October so it should work out ok.

Actually, maybe I'll change my choice - it's only available in hardcover until 2010 and quite huge and expensive. Something Canuckian perhaps?

OK,OK!
I select My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex,Drugs and Stand-Up. By Russell Brand.
(The review are great. Love him or hate him he discusses dark subjects, but according to the reviews, makes it laugh out loud funny)
I really want Finger Lickin Fifteen (Stephanie Plum) but that is not out until June.

^ Added it.I also had to sit out March's book as it was the last month of the school year... I'm taking six classes... and, well, you can imagine. Though I may just pick it up this week since the discussion hasn't begun yet. I'm definitely still up for the club.

Then let's agree to start the discussion on Monday. Dammit, I have the book ... I just haven't read more than the first 5 pages yet. Hopefully, over the weekend I'll knock it right out.
