Nominations for December's Book
Nominate here. NB Avoid Oprah-style pseudo feminist, I survived adversity, I am woman hear me roar crap please.
I nominate The History Of Almost Everything by Bill Bryson. Non-fiction explanation of all the Big Scientific Discoveries/Ideas explained with humour, clarity and in layman's terms. Lots of 'wow, I never knew that' moments and a really good summary of our knowledge to date of the big and small scientific breakthroughs/ideas. Sounds boring, but REALLY interesting and enjoyable.

What's November's, by the way? I know we were talking about Life of Pi but not sure if we decided? Anyway, I'll go with Bill Bryson for December since I've been meaning to get around to it at some point anyways.

Paula by Allende is good too. I read the best book last week. It is long though. It is called The Queen of the South by Arturo Perez-Reverte.
