I am thinking the bizarre part is how he (a man that people said LOVED his family more than anything and was such a respectable man) killed them and left them in the house for a couple days. That's what I am thinking but I could be wrong.
or....
there could be some wrestler killer on the loose. Didn't Scary Sherry just die a couple weeks ago from unknown causes?

^^I mean, that can be seen as bizarre, but roids would explain that. He was a wrestler with numerous injuries. He, along with several other prominent wrestlers, were part of an ogoing roid investigation. So, the roids would explain it.
That is the thing. He was known as one of the most stable. I wonder what is behind the story that we have not been privy too. This is insane, but something else makes it bizarre?

I know, I can't wait to find out what happened.
You know what else.... I just find it hard to believe that WWE did that 3 hour special to honor him after he killed his wife and children, you know? That seems bizarre.

It is a sad situation. Vince McMahon needs to stop being all about the business and take care of his people. Roids has killed too many of these wrestlers in many different ways. While I agree his actions are totally deplorable I hope he has found peace.

McMahon doesn't give a shit about anything but the bottom line. Hell, he exploited his own kids. Just watch the shows.
His unauthorized biography paints a very sinister pic.

I agree he doesn't give a shit and you can tell it by the sheer number of deaths that have come from his organization.

I just read a statement that suggests the wife was killed days before the son:
Thing is, if Benoit did kill his wife, then days later his little boy before he killed himself, the questions as to why will probably never be answered to anyone’s satisfaction.

If the mother and kid show significantly more decomposition than him, it's a fairly good indicator that he killed them and then himself. Especially if Benoit was found the same day he killed himself and his wife and child have a few days of decomposition on them.

^^Yeah, I think they can get pretty close to the time of death now...
Excerpt from MTV.COM
Tributes also appeared on WWE.com, but as news started to break that Benoit may have murdered his wife and young son, those were gradually replaced with photo collections and straight news reporting on the situation. By Tuesday afternoon, a sober news report of the tragedy was on the site's home page.
In the wake of the news, professional wrestling fans around the world have taken to sites like PWInsider.com to post their feelings on Benoit, who was idolized by so-called "smart fans" for his bruising, technical style. And while many remembered him as an in-ring giant, their opinions of him out of the ring have forever changed.
"If that TMZ report is totally true, well, let's just say that Chris Benoit was a 'special' sort of monster," one fan wrote. "I hate it, but if ... that is true, my respect and admiration of any sort for Chris Benoit died right with him."
"I have 7 and 8 year old sons. Reading this story, I can actually hear my kids screaming for help if I were to ever do something so horrible, and it makes me want to throw up," another added. "How a father can do this is beyond me. To compare Benoit to Owen Hart [another much-revered grappler who died in a freak in-ring incident in 1999] is akin to desecrating Hart's grave."
That is what is so hard for most of us to grasp. Yes, it's terrible that the wife died, but to know that this kid who looked up to him and loved him was killed. I can only hope that he was asleep when it happened. I could not imagine (and if I try to it truly makes me ill) the horror of that child knowing that his father was killing him...

They can get exactly the time of death now. They used to get "pretty close" in the 1940's. Forensic science now can pretty much piece everything back together.
This sort of thing makes my head spin. And it makes me gag.

He was even a gym rat to the end. He hung himself with the pulley from his weightlifting machine. This is a very weird and tragic story.
