Okay maybe it's just me, but when I hear *paternal* and think about the fact that he watched this girl grow up while he was involved in a relationship with her mother...with whom he had at least one bio child, who was basically Soon-Yi's brother....and now he's fucking HER, it makes me want to vomit. And feel sorry for the rest of the kids, especially the one who was biologically Woody's. He can try and whitewash it any way he wants but that is one fucked up situation and he's a huge perv! I wouldn't be shocked if he one day ends up with one of those little asian daughters they adopted! I can't even believe this man would be allowed to adopt kids! Especially little asian girls!

First off, I don't think they adopted those girls. I think they had them the regular way. And also, too bad Mia didn't take Frank Sinatra up on having Woody cemented and thrown in the Jersey sound.

well, she can't blame soon-yi for being into older men and having daddy issues, since she was raised by mia, who married sinatra when she was 20 and he was 40 years her senior...

and woody isn't soon-yi's. he and mia farrow were married and didn't even live together. and so far they've lasted longer than mia and sinatra anyway. i'm not saying it's a typical, normal relationship, but i never understood the degree of people's outrage.

So, now with all of that said....it has now led to a great situation for pedophiles. Now all they have to do is go adopt. I think the adoption agency are total MORONS for letting this creep adopt ANY more children and if he lives long enough, I am sure you will see him going off with one of those girls. ADOPTED STILL MEANS YOU ARE THE PARENT. It is still sick if not even more so because you went out and went and jumped through all the hoops to become a parent.

He is not a pedophile for gods sake... She was not a child when they got together! He was not HIS child at all! I dont think the word pedophile should be slung about that simply.. There was no reason for him not to be able to adopt.

that's a bit far-fetched, don't you think? a man that lusts after young girls, i.e. teenagers and pubescent girls, is not a paedophile. it may well be creepy and illegal and whatever else you want to call it, but a paedophile is someone that is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children, in a non-normal, can't have a relationship with them kind of way. i think the term gets thrown around a little too casually. most paedophiles don't want to marry their child-brides and adopt more children with them.

Okay so perhaps we don't have enough evidence to know for certain if Woody is actually a pedophile, but that whole situation was creepy as fuck and I think his being with her was and is beyond inappropriate. I'm sure the little girls they adopted are safe enough. But honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if he started to have *feelings* for one of them a few years down the road when they bloomed, so to speak! People talk about how he didn't technically reside in the same house with Soon-Yi when she was growing up, but everyone knows damn well he might as well have been her stepdad just the same. Hopefully it will be different with these girls and he really will view them as his actual daughters in every sense...meaning that having a romantic or sexual relationship with them will not even be a consideration.

I just have to say that ANY body(unless it is another teenager, of course) who lust after teenage girls or boys is a ped in my book and I know for a fact in my country, by law, it is as well. I agree 100 % with Mrs. Dark that I won't be surprised, in the future that we hear he has done something to the little girls. So, Sputnik, do you believe Michael Jackson isn't a ped either?

How do you know exactly when he started to "lust" after her and if he had those feelings when she was young? Perhaps it happened when she matured. Maybe, and this is not really far fetched, he knew her as a young girl, but didnt fall in love with her until she was older. I dont see how you can bring Michael Jacksons case in this..
