Walking barefoot becoming a trend???

I used to work taking care of a bunch of horses, and my brother in law showed up there once with his girlfriend. She came dressed to visit a horse barn wearing a long full skirt and bare feet. I was so grossed out. I go barefoot at home all the time, but in a horse barn? With horse shit? And maybe a giant horse to step on you? Or wood splinters? Gah!

I won't ever go barefoot in public but home is a different matter.

I always get cold feet at home so I wear socks or slippers, besides with white tiles even naked feet would leave marks and I'm a maniac
I used to walk barefoot in summer at my parent's house and in the garden. This meant getting bee and wasp stings on a regular basis
I think the only place I go barefoot is the outdoor swimming pool I go to in summer. I don't trust the beaches, although the feeling of sand under naked feet is heavenly!!!

I'd never dream of going barefoot in the street though... streets are disgusting, even with no litter or weird liquids around
