Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I hate bare feet, even at home, so this whole trend is gross and disturbing to me.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I love walking barefoot around my house and I don’t let shoes into my home. Just thinking of someone’s shoes in a public toilet then on my floor makes my skin crawl…even worse is when people put their shoes on their bed, YUCK…It is as bad as going barefoot into a public toilet.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
My feet are SO sensitive (blaming this on being a Pisces) , so I can't stand walking around barefoot...stepping on even the slightest rough surface leaves me howling like a whiny brat in pain. I'd be paranoid to walk around anywhere here though...all the nasty ass shit on the ground? Ew.
I love slippers and socks

Maybe their feet hurt from shoving them in uncomfortable heels and they need relief.
We always went barefoot in the summers down the shore so when the time came to wear shoes after months of not it was hard because your feet actually spread.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
i loooove being barefoot but only inside and on grass. i miss having a backyard (i live in an apartment now, but my parents have a lovely backyard). it seems weird to be on pavement with bare feet. as a matter of comfort, it's usually too hot not to wear sandals/shoes and hurts the feet.

You get used to it. I grew up in a house with a garden that had long gravel walks, and in the spring and early summer it hurt like hell going barefoot on the gravel; by the end of the summer you'd hardly notice it.
I love going barefoot at home and in the garden - I have, um, I have rather smelly feet so it's nice to be able to let them breathe as much as possible... but I can't even imagine going barefoot in the street, unless I had a serious shoe malfunction of some sort.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I am barefoot at home almost all the time, even in the dead of winter. will go barefoot in my own yard(except the side by the busy street-full of small bits of litter..way too many things to step on)but not out to a public place! going to the grocery store, any shop or anywhere PUBLIC you must wear shoes of some sort. If not you are trashy and likely to step in God knows what! People are pigs and they deposit their filth in any public place possible..and you will be stepping it their filth! Just trashy and dangerous.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
I whip off my shoes and socks as soon as I get inside my house and
can’t stand wearing slippers.
I would never walk barefoot outside. You could easily step on a piece
of broken glass, rusty nail etc. Same with on the grass, There are the
same hazards but hidden, along with discarded lit cigarette butts
and bees.

Re: Walking barefoot becoming a trend???
Foot doctors will tell you it's good for your feet to walk barefoot, especially women who wear all those too tight pointy toed shoes. I walk barefoot in the house always and in my yard, but not out in the street

You can contract parasites by walking around barefoot around your own house if you own a pet.

I already have a huge parasite. His name is Caleb and he will be 2 on Thursday. Little blood sucker!
