Yeah my friend had a nasty Heroin addiction and went to Hazelden in Minnesota and was there for about 6 months then spent another 6 months in a half-way house. Sadly though, he relapsed and succumbed to the addiction 2 years ago. The important thing to notice is that a majority of addicts relapse more often than not, so it could take a number of times in rehab to really kick the habit. The thing is they need to admit it to themselves first that they have a problem. My friend used to tell us it's not as bad as we think, but then when he realized how he was losing everything he told his parents that he needed serious help. They at first wanted him to stay at home and do out-patient, but he knew for his own well-being he needed to go somewhere far from here and stay for a long time.
Miss you Brian, RIP It still breaks my heart that we couldn't do more.
Basically Lindsay is still a child and doesn't think there's anything wrong with her. No matter what she or the Lohan's do, she will not start getting better until she recognizes her problem. Its really sad to be so young and not have a clue that you're ruining your life...

I don't know how I feel about this today. Last night I had this dream about Lilo where she and I were buddy buddy and I felt so bad for her and wanted to help her. And she was really nice. In this dream I was even joking with White Oprah. It was CREEPY. And it's the SECOND dream I've had where Lindsay and I were buds and I had this like maternal friend thing going on with her. So apparently my subconscious really likes LiLo. Or it realizes she's a charismatic manipulative faker and that's how she's gotten so many people to make excuses for her...
And yeah, this place doesn't sound partick hardcore to me. Bitch needs to go to a state hospital and find out what life is like for people outside her little bubble.

Lindsay needs to go to Hazeldon. I really think that might be the best place for her.

When will her people get it that rehab isn't some cute publicity stunt?
As much as I despise LiLo I can't help feel for the stupid kid trapped inside her messed up brain that desperately needs serious medical help.
