I always thought she was so cool when I was growing up. I loved her in Little Darlings. It's pretty sad what happened to her. I guess it doesn't matter where you come from, when you have shitty parents, you have a pretty good chance of turning out shitty. When I was a teenager, Ryan O'Neal's son killed the son of Francis Ford Coppola in the water behind my house. It was a boating accident. Very tragic. Ryan's son, Griffin(??), was pretty messed up too. There were rumors that he used to beat the shit out of him before court. Who knows.

True, because growing up with feelings of rejection and low esteem can cause a person to take those same feelings onto their adulthood and they escape that pain by abusing alcohol and/or drugs, so of course she couldn't raise her children because she was messed up herself.

But I give Tatum credit for getting help for herself and turning her live around and living a clean and sober life. It's never easy, but her determination gave her the strength to change, and it's good that she talks about it because she's sending the message to other's going though the same thing, that there is hope for recovery and a new life.

BTW - Tatum's on the telenovala Wicked, Wicked Games on MynetworkTV, and the Girl can still act! She plays a jealous, evil woman seeking revenge on her ex-boyfriend and she plays her well. I'm hooked on that show, and I'm glad to see her back.

It must be hard, because a lifetime of abuse by your parents can't be turned around in a few therapy sessions. It seems like you'll always harbor these feelings deep inside. It's very sad.

I should watch her new show. I really like her.
