Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
I had my daughter at a birthing center with midwives. No drugs by choice but I am not opposed to them. The law in my state says you must stay at least 4 hours after the birth and the baby must be checked by a doctor before leaving. I went home just under 6 hours after giving birth and was fine. Katie will have more than enough help on hand and since she can't talk to the baby for a week it's not like she needs to do anything but rest. I wonder if she will nurse or if they hired someone for that?

It's kind of hard to produce milk unless you've actually had a baby...although I've heard it can be done, so who knows.

I'm damn sure not opposed to them. I had 'em and I recommend them to all my friends. My son was several weeks overdue, I had to be induced, the water had to be manually broken, hooked up to Pitocin (which makes the contractions alot more painful) and forced to lie on my left side for 12 frigging hours hoping the boy would turn and come out properly - (he was face up or as the doctor said - sunny side up) which he did not. Once I was done, I wanted to go home, but since the boy needed to be circumcised, we couldn't leave. Circumcision done the next day & we went home after being there for about 36 hours.

I'm sticking with Pfffst! 3 hours -
though I do have to say I have a friend who gained over a hundred pounds and then gave birth in less than an hour! I told her that her stuff must be huge and that damn baby fell out!

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
A fucking Science Fiction writer came up with this shit and only true morons would follow. They only feed the baby Honey with Barley milk, that shit will kill a baby. WTFFF!!

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
Do we know if Posh assisted with the delivery as was previously reported?
Also, does anyone else think it's weird that Katie's parents were vacationing in Florida rather than with their daughter for the impending birth of their first grandchild?????

What could you do when you dont have any way of knowing that she has gone into labor, abducted, thrown into a cell and brain washed. Im pretty sure they wanted to be there, they probably even found out she had the baby like how we find out. Very fucked up!

I heard on Inside Edition (or a similar show) that they were vacationing in Florida (which is weird...you think they'd be with her...anyways...) and when Katie's mom heard the news, she "burst into tears of joy".
Don't blame her for that one.

I feel really sorry for them. I wonder if Tom will ever let them see their "grandchild" (without the handlers or him being there).

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
Being a grandma myself, I find it very strange that the future Nana and gramps weren't there. They seemed so close. Most nanas can't be pried away before the baby is due. Oh wait, maybe they were there two weeks ago when it was really born.
