What no one could have anticipated, Cagle said, was Shields having her baby the same day as Holmes: "(Shields) not only had her baby yesterday, but in the same hospital, on the same floor as Tom's. So, clearly, the god of irony and hilarity was in Hollywood (Tuesday)."

Geez, how scared must Brooke Shields have been for her own life and her baby's.

How amusing if the babies had somehow gotten swapped!

Thanks, my find tool didn't see it the first time around...
I think there's two L. Ron entries, the one I was at was L Ron Hubbard, no period.

I was just thinking that maybe Brooke was having twins all along and she was in on the whole publicity stunt because she's giving one baby to Tom and Katie, LOL.

Oh, you stop that - giving me the wooly boogers! Brooke and Tom in cahoots. Brooke has twins, one is the anti-christ and the other destined to destroy it's twin. The arguing all just a publicity stunt to throw us off of the trail of what's really going on here. I find that more believable than Tomshit knocking ANY female up..

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
If it's true that she did indeed have the baby in a hospital, she had to have actually been pregnant. How could you guarantee the staff wouldn't blab that there was someone else giving birth? You can't fake that....and I feel that even as much as I despise this whole thing, I am going a little too far with some of these 'theories'...such as: First I thought they could 'fake' it if the lunatic had his own staff there, but doctors and nurses don't just walk into a hospital and start to work...not even for the biggest asshole erm I mean movie star in the world...

When/If you had a baby, did you get to go home the same day?

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
Why is it so hard to believe that she may not have needed any drugs to have that baby? Why is it so hard to believe she may not have screamed in pain?
There are a hellva lot of us that did neither while in labour and delivery. Just because it was Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, the woman has to be screaming and/or drugged?
I was in too much shock to scream or ask for drugs. I barely made a sound, and trust me, it wasn't as a favour to the baby or anyone in that room. Thankfully, everything was said and done in three hours for me.
Some of you are putting alot of time and energy into something that may have been nothing at all

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
Well, having Tomkat's baby in your hospital is really a great deal of publicity for a hospital, which is a business like any other...so it's actually not that far-fetched. If they just release a statement saying the baby was born there, the hospital isn't going to be like, no, that's a lie.
Plus, how did they get out of their house, to the hospital, and back in without anyone noticing? That just seems fishy to me. It's all fishy but very entertaining in a morbid kind of way.

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
^^Mine were both born by c section, and quite a long time ago. They are now 15 and 17 and then it was quite normal to stay 5 days to a week...even with vaginal births, they kept you 3 or 4 days, I think...
My SIL had her baby in December and had no problems and she was still in the hospital about 3 days....this is what keeps making those insane theories pop into my head. Why would they keep her less than 24 hours?

Me too. A friend of mine had a baby March 9th - she was in the hospital for about 5 days. C-sections tend to stay longer than vaginals but I don't really know of any doctor sending someone home a couple hours after having a baby!

Re: Suri Cruise was born in a hospital, silently
With my second baby, I was up and ready to go home a couple of hours after giving birth. They made me stay at the hospital two days ... I was bored out of my mind and couldn't wait to leave. I think the only reason they let me go was that the nurses were tired of listening to me complain.
If I ever get pregnant again, I'm having the kid at home!
