You'd feel different if Stephen Baldwin and his merry band of wackos were following you around, taking pictures.

I can understand why they don't want an adult shop close to a school but.. I would think that any real sickos would get most of their content off the internet anyhow.
I associate adultshops with bored couples looking to spice up their relationships with a bit of sex toys and adult videos. I could be wrong though. Or even singles looking for some harmless fun.
I personally think pedo's try and stay as underground as possible.

I agree about your statements about the internet. things are alot different than they were even five or ten years ago. And they always use the internet and internet stings to get the pedos. These people should be more concerned about what their kids are looking at on their computers at home than what kind of store is going up down the block. I wonder how these porn shops are even economically viable anymore.

Puritanical ones, and twisted into blackmail of other people.
Real moral.

I think that he means well, but somehow that Baldwin=zealot gene just comes out more than his good intentions. I think that because most celebs aren't intelligent enough to think their beliefs through, they just get their point across in the way that they know how: by being incredibly over-dramatic.

Well, in Threesome, he let Josh Charles grab his ass when they were doing it with Lara Flynn Boyle, does that count?

But he is born again. IF you buy into that sort of thing, your previous sins are washed away and you begin anew....

I agree that adult stores should be far away from schools etc. 99% of the people who shop there are more likely than not totally normal folks but the 1% of the sick puppys need to be far from children or other vulnerable people.

I totally agree with Jungle Monkey. While his "Born-Again Christian" opinions might offend & annoy a lot of people, I too like & respect this guy. Most people, when there's something going on that they don't want / don't agree with, they sit around just bitching & complaining--which does no good. Baldwin, though, is actually DOING something about this issue. He doesn't want a porn store 200 feet away from an elementary school (and i sure as hell don't blame him), so he's trying to stop it from being opened there. Good for him! They should find another place for the shop--away from young children.
