Um, according to studies you would have to drink about 2 gallons of someone's saliva to get anywhere near even a CHANCE of getting HIV, and that's only if you have a bleeding cut somewhere in your mouth or throat.. and even then it's infinitesimaly remote.

Hell, some people have sex 5 times with an infected person and still don't get it.

I'm not saying it's common. Just possible. One of many medical facts that's kept on the down low, probably because your average ignoramus would take that knowledge and run so out of control with it that there would be widespread panic. There are some standard precautions for nurses that didn't exist a few decades ago. And spitting on someone can now result in a major lawsuit.

And if it was hot wing sauce flavored, Star could have indeed swallowed a couple of gallons of spit!

It's not kept on the downlow, it's plastered over all HIV imformation pamphlets. If they LIED about it, and it turned out that simply kissing someone could give you HIV that easily, there would be such an immense class action suit as the world has never seen.

That, and the rates of HIV infection would have increased geometrically and practically everyone would have it by now.

The chances are infinitesimal, and only if certain things are set up.

If the pamphlets are saying it's absolutely impossible, then (at least technically) they're lying. Even if it's not lied about, the fact that it's not impossible isn't something you usually hear mentioned.

No one is saying it is impossible..it is very rare..your more likely to find out paris hilton doesn't have herpes then to get aids from kissing.
