Ahhh, it was horrible!!! I was in labor for 15 hours pushed for 2 hours and he wouldn't come out!!! After they broke my water it was the worst pain wise so much so that I started yelling at the nurse to get an epidural lol. So I ended up with a c-section with a baby who was 9lbs. He's now 5 weeks old and is 12lbs

Congrats on the now 5 week old bub. But back to Britney and the hair dye. I think chemicals that are used for dyeing hair are awfully dangerous and should be used with great caution. Not just for babys sake, but adults as well. Not that I have ever seen anyone with cancer of the hair,......but really it cant be good. And I am almost serious here.

If you do a pull-though-the-cap frosting-type of highlight, it uses bleach, which isn't good for the baby -- however, many people are now foiled, which isn't as rough on your scalp. Semi-permanent hair dyes don't contain as many harsh chemicals...at least that's what I was told. My hairdresser was so careful with me during my pregnancies. She won't perm pregnant people b/c it can turn out very weird -- straight in some places and kinky-weird in others.

Personally, the hair dye issue -- I think you need to weigh the risks. It's a personal choice, and I think people should MYOB.

As for Brit -- this is a non-issue. She's committed far more heinous mothering f-ups. I do think she's missing a few important mothering braincells. She simply has no common sense. She's so immature -- a baby herself.

My thoughts exactly! Does it really fucking matter?? Spears/Federline genes might be even helped by a little hair dye. She might as well smoke up, guzzle margaritas, pop valium and bleach her hair within an inch of its life like 50's housewives used to do when pregnant back when nobody thought anything would harm a fetus.

For chrissake, we're living in the most wussified, fearful, paranoid times in history....when I was pregnant I got told I was risking spontaneous abortion by giving in to chocolate cravings.

The food and drink the average person puts in their body in this day and age has chemicals in it that are toxic to the human body that were unheard of 100 years ago.

This argument has been brought up a lot on the Radio. Some people say you cant dye your hair within the firs three, some say last three months, some say not at all. Ultimately it boils down to what her OBGYN said and if she chooses to listen to them or not.
