Well it would be nice if there was a REAL conservative who was actually versed on the issues, and not some ridiculous pro-Bush parrot who basically just repeated the lies from the White House.
Do those exist?

I think the closest you'd get is Tucker Carlson, but I'm pretty sure his penis disqualifies him from The View, though I don't see why, I'm pretty sure Joy has one too.

I would kill to see Laura Ingraham in the seat, but I think her show is far too successful in it's own right for her to uproot. I agree that there does need to be another conservative, though.

If I had it my way i'd get either Wanda Sykes or Margaret Cho on the show.
Wanda because she's damn funny and Joy rarely is.
Margaret because she's just made of awesome.

I love how they're trying so hard to make us believe that they couldn't come to an agreement around her contract when it's sooooo obvious her ass was fired. I think Donald's had the last laugh this time! None of them impress me, but I think Joy was the best of the bunch.

I don't believe she was fired. Ratings = money, and she helped the show's ratings. The controversy was good for them.

I won't miss her one sided crazy rants for one minute. Unfortunately I'm sure she'll still find the publicity to spew her self-important views on everything somewhere else. I think they should try to bring Meredith back and Katie should return to Today. All the switching around has upset the balance of things, and neither show is as good as it used to be.
