Refresher: Katie Holmes' Missing Days Meeting Tom Cruise

For me, it's really hard to tell whether she's in on it or not. On one hand, she probably saw what a "marriage" to Tom Cruise did for Nicole Kidman. She thought she was buying her one way ticket to Chanel endorsements and oscars.
On the other hand, her behavior is just so damn weird. Why did she fire all her own handlers? Why has she distanced herself from her family? Why does that creepy scientology lady follow her around all the time? What's growing on her face? Why does she always sound like a retarded monkey on crack?
I honestly don't know which scenario it is, but I don't think either is any better than the other.

Yeah, you're right, she doesn't seem to be firing on all cylinders.

They both seem delusional, though. Like they really think people find it a charming fairy tale that they're together and having a baby. I wonder if they're even aware they're a huge, creepy joke.

Just a thought here but, what if SHE turned the tables on him? I know some women who seem to get pregnant just thinking about it! So, suppose she was "interviewed" and managed to do the little bit that Nicole Kidman hadn't. At least not till the end of the marriage anyways.

I really, really think Katie was "bought" and her womb was "rented", if she's even prego. After those ridiculous pictures today, I really am doubting that she's pregnant now.

alright, suppose most of this stuff were true...if it was...what is keeping Nicole quiet about it all...wouldn't she know something? Does Tom have any contact with his adopted kids anymore?

Nicole might be keeping quiet about anything for the sake of their children. Tom seems to have plenty of contact with his kids, though I feel like it's done as a PR move. It seems like he's photographed at their soccer games 4 or 5 times a week.

I agree, I think Tom bought her so he could raise the perfect lil Scietologist from the ground up...you can't do that with adopted kids. I doubt she's going to have much involvement with the child. She probably thought being associated with Tom Cruise would be great publicity and help her career. It would have if he didn't make his gross insanity so obvious.

yeah, those pictures of katie that were out yesterday were...!!! i have had 3 kids, and my belly NEVER looked like that, even though i carried differently each time. she looks like she's lost weight, too.

my guess: she has already had the baby, and they are merely coordinating and planning their PR as to when to announce that they have had the kid. i don't think that tom is the daddy, but i have no idea who is. prolly some scientology donor.

i hope that when this "relationship" is all over, katie's parents have her thoroughly deprogrammed and never let her see tom again. i just wonder if there is a stipulation in their contract about custody of the kid. i hope that she doesn't have to give him the kid just to get out of the relationship, you know? what a freak.

personally, i like how he discounts all labels regarding his personality and behavior by discounting the entire field of psychology and psychiatry! how convenient!

In one of the many amusing spoofs on Cruise/Scientology, there is one where they say that he initially "interviewed" Scarlett Johanson for a "part" in Mission Impossible 3 but when she realised what she was REALLY being interviewed for she freaked out and ran away. Nice-But-Dim Katie was the next potential victim and she was too dumb (or starstruck?) to escape.

Scarlett Johansson did an interview where she said she went to a dinner with Tomthumb at the Scientology Celeb Center to talk about a role in the new flick. After two hours, he opened a door in the room they were eating in and on the other side were a group of Scientology big-wigs. She ran for the hills and Katie was next on the list.

^^^Yea, I think the Scarlett thing really happened--she openly talked about it (immediately after the incident)...then suddenly changed her story and said it wasn't like that at all, which we all know is crap.

I just saw in the NY Post that a resporter did an interview w/TomKat (for Parade magazine) and made some interesting observations. It's just an excerpt, but here it is:

April 6, 2006 -- WHAT'S up with Katie Holmes? The once vivacious actress is like a "Stepford" wife ever since she hooked up with Tom Cruise and Scientology. During an interview with the expectant parents for Parade, reporter Dotson Rader writes, "Holmes . . . wore a large diamond engagement ring. She seemed dazed, passive and vacant. She never stopped smiling." Holmes continued smiling through the interview as Cruise described how his father beat him, and as Cruise was "hooting how beautiful she was, touching and kissing her like a teenage boy on his first backseat date, aware that he was being watched."
