I don't think the controversy is gonna go away anytime soon, I just heard about the incident on a radio show.
It's Akon's fault for pretending to get that girl to dance (heard that she's 15 now) for a trip that he was'nt going to give away.

OMG, everyone calm down!
it's just dancing and pretend. It's not rape, it's not molestation, it may not be the best in decorum, but I'm sure that crazy speed bump and grind dancing is not something new you haven't seen or heard.
lol! - I feel like no one would bat an eyelash at a mosh pit, where I find them way too crazy...but hey, that's how those kids dance now a days.

Not been round here posting for a while, but Glamazon I would like to agree with you but I just can't on this one. It is not just dancing. whether she is of age is not the matter (and I know you didn't imply that someone else did - she does look older)
What gets me is his self obsessed, "I am a sex monster, I can have anyone" persona that knocks me sick to my stomach. Many stars have the chance to take advantage of fans, ....but to do this on stage?? I really am lost for words
