Yeah, it's bad that she was underage and all, but I don't really care too much. She went up there willingly, she danced with them willingly, and no actual sex occurred.
It might seem like something molestation-al (is that a word?), but that's just how we dance these days. I've danced like that with guys over 18 and I'm waaaaaay underage. Of course, I'd never do it on stage, but whatever.
I don't think charges should be pressed and truthfully, sorry to play the devil's advocate, but it wasn't that huge. And Akon is talented, it'd be a shame for him to quit music. Like him or not, he's a good musician and he represents parts of the world. Listen to "Gangsta Bop" or "Tired of Runnin" or "Shake Down". It's better than a lot of the music out there.
It's horrible that he lied, of course, but get over it already. And he didn't force himself on that girl. If she had a problem, she could have stopped.
