the problem is that James and charles look alike too! which isnt suprising considering the amount of *cue bad British stereotype* inbreeding going on over there!

I don't think it was an accident either, but I don't think it had anything to do with Dodi who was just another rich bloke to shag as far as she was concerned. She was a loose cannon and an embarrassment and needed to be 'dealt with' once and for all. She'd done her job - provided an heir and a spare. She was unstable, unpredictable and slightly mad. She had to go. But we will never know the truth because 'we can't handle the truth' LOL

I don't believe this. It's not supported by any of the known facts of the case. After so many years, something tangible would have surfaced by now.

Princess Margaret was an embarrassment for a lot longer, and even though she was one of "them" so to speak, she was left to drink herself to death, much like her mother.

^That's pretty much how I've always seen it. I do agree that Princess Margaret was left to drink herself to death. The Royals are a sorry lot that I would have little use for as a British subject, which I am not. As it is, I have little use for them.

if the royals did do it, i can't say i blame them. can't say i'm sad either. diana was a silly, neurotic bimbo and i never got everyone's fascination with her. can you tell i couldn't stand her?

i also agree that al-fayed is a stubborn, senile old fart with an ax to grind with the royals. get over it. yes it's sad his son died but have some dignity and stop crying 'conspiracy!' and building cheesy monuments to dodi and diana at harrod's.
she was sooo not going to marry him, she was just having a fling and probably got off more on the fact that it pissed off her ex-in laws that she was fucking a muslim than by the actual 'relationship'. as for the diamond, the guy was a millionaire, just because he gave her jewelry doesn't mean it's an engagement ring.

Couldn't agree more. She was a not-very-bright neurotic, manipulative basket case who managed to fool a lot of people, but NOT the royals.

The royals used her too - and they started it with their twit need to have some "proper" "virginal" "acceptable" bride - with disastrous results. In my book they're not off the hook in terms of questionable ethics and culpability, not by a long shot.

Oh yeah, I don't like it either... it's just media crap that was built up and now it won't die. She did try to do some good, and it kept her busy, but she was a classic Mars/Pluto person. Classic. Just like AJ is. And Madonna, and so on. Those people survive on fame, manipulation and control.
