Your whole ‘well black people use it so big deal’ reason still does not make it a good idea for any white person to call a black person a nigga or nigger. Most black people will probably feel more offended if a white person calls then a nigga or nigger than if a black person does.
The word nigga when used among black people has a different meaning then when it was first used as nigger. The point is, whether that makes sense to you are not, when black people use it among each other most times it is understood and many cases accepted.
Today they are still many white people who use the word nigger or nigga in the exact same way it was used in its heyday. Therefore when a white person uses it, there’s always going to be the question of intent.

I agree completely. I don't think anyone should use the word BUT when black people say it's so hurtful to hear and then they turn around and use it themselves....well....they sound like idiots. I Don't mean to be blunt but that's the truth.
It cannot be an okay word for a black person to say but the second a white person says it then it's bad and all hell breaks loose. Either it's a bad word all together and should never be used (which this is how I feel) or it shouldn't be so harmful to hear if spoken by someone other than a black.

Sweetie it is easy for you or anyone else to view black people as 'idiots' over this, especially given your lack of understanding of the issue from their perspective. As a black person, while I don't use the word(never have), I can still understand why they wouldn't feel offended if a black person called them that and they would of a white person did.
The point I am trying to make is that regardless of how idiotic you feel it is, many black people DO and WILL get offended once someone from another race uses the word. I doubt use of the word among the black community will end anytime soon. Black people will feel justified in being offended once a white person uses the word. Your lack of understanding or agreement to this fact is inconsequential.
For the sake of race relations it would just be better if white people didn't use the word.

Sweetie, while I see what you're trying to say, you're speaking from the perspective of a white person who hasn't had to deal with the negative aspects of being a black person and dealing with that word in America.
To be blunt, black people didn't create the word, and we're not the only ones that use it. Black people could stop using the word tomorrow and that wouldn't stop some white people from using it. But by your thinking, if black people use the word with each other than it should be okay for white people to use it too, right? But here's where that theory gets blown to bits. When black people use the term niggah to each other, it doesn't carry the same meaning as it would when a white person says it.
That's just like saying that because some white people use the word cracker, that black people should be able to use it and whites can't get offended. Or that because some gay guys call each other fag that straight people should be able to use it too, but the gays can't get pissed. That's nice in theory, but will never be a reality.

I'll probably dig this up eventually and watch it. But not right now. Because Fuggles is still a cheap ugly douche. And a whore. Oh, and she's stupid.
Question: Did she ever go to college??

Remember that old show Gimme A Break? There was an episode where Samantha thought she was being cool and called Nell the "N" word. Nell had to give that little girl a talking to.
Then she sat on the little girl and squashed her..... well okay, I made that part up!

That's wrong, but funny.
And, yeah, I remember that episode. I've had to have that same talk with some people myself. Both black and white.
