Is she for real? Who in her her right mind would want to listen to Oprah and company 24-7?

I'm watching Oprah on Larry King now and I'm absolutely stunned by the magnitude of her over inflated ego. She's going to have her nightly telephone conversations with Gail as part of her radio gig? I'm starting to become as sick of Gail as I am Oprah. What's the big deal about Gail? My best friend is more intelligent and interesting and no one's approached either of us about a radio show. And what does she need with these 'experts' she's trying to give a break (ala Dr. Phil)? What does she need them for? I thought Oprah knew everything about everything - at least that's the impression she always gives.
I really, really, really loathe Oprah now. I don't care how much good she's done for the world. She's been in my face for far too long and now she's about to overtake my airwaves!! Ugh!

Gail is boring and looks like a linebacker. I know. I've seen her in person.

And what a paltry claim to fame she has. Imagine being famous for being Oprah's BFF.

Dude, I so totally want to hear what they talk about. Imagine all the DIRT they cackle about!

Hey, I'm a voyeur, so if it's entertaining, I'd totally tune in to you and your friend, too! I have a friend back home, and I swear, so many times we said "We really need to be filming ourselves when we get together." The whole world would tune in, but I'd probably end up with many, many enemies and about a hundred fire bombs, so maybe it's a good thing we never taped any of our conversations.

No, no, no! You've got it all wrong! I've witnessed her say she's naive about something numerous times. She's all about self-discovery, self-love (heh heh), healing folk, philanthropy, yadda yadda yadda.

OK, Wicked, yesterday you were kind on with Oprah and now you're putting the deluded cow down. What gives? Is it because you looked deeply into my eyes...?

Don't you know I'm a fickle bitch??
But seriously, though, yeah, she's got her flaws. But I don't think she's self-serving or egomaniacal. She just thinks she knows what's best for everybody, or how to solve everybody's problems. If she can't, she'll find an expert who can. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is a double-edged sword. It makes the people either hate her or love her. Although I don't "love" Oprah, I support what she does, and I'm glad she's on the planet doing what she does.
But, yeah, it is a bit much, ain't it? A tv show, a magazine, a radio show. But I guess that's the trend these days. It's like, people won't respect you unless you're a mogul or something. Gee, thanks, Globalization!

I think Oprah's biggest talent is that she can convince us regular folks that we are just like her, a huge trick for someone who is a billionaire

HOWARD! HOWARD! HOWARD!! oh... ahem...
anyway, i heard on howard - replayed from larry king i think - oprah talking about the show that'll be her and gayle's nightly phone calls or whatever and she totally said that they had to be majorly editted cause of what they talk about. like, that's what we WANT to hear you old bag!! you're gonna tape this stuff for entertainment purposes and then totally dumb it down?? 'specially on satelite radio?! whatever...
she is sooo annoying. larry king totally sprung on her 'so what are YOU gonna be doing on the channel?' and she majorly stuttered and said something like 'i am the O in O'. it was so weird. the woman is really way into 'herself'.
hey lynnie, we speak your names.
