Well, Oprah has now officially dispensed with those annoying everyday guests and can concentrate on what really matters to her: Oprah. It's going to be all about Oprah and Gayle, Oprah and Maja, Oprah and Oprah, and then some extra stuff about...you guessed it....OPRAH!!!!!
|
Oh, GOD! She's so friggin' annoying. It's too bad, really, because she started out quite alright. But now her massive ego has gotten way out of hand. Why doesn't she spend some of her gazillions to buy her own planet, name it OPRAH! and move there? Sheesh.

I think she's already planning that and it will be known as the planet once called Earth.

I just can't believe she has a massive ego. People with massive egos don't let themselves be seen MANY TIMES on national tv without make-up or any other such beautifying whatnots. And believe you me, Oprah needs make-up!
To me, Oprah is a do-gooder with a saviour complex. Not that that's a "good" thing...

I don't know, wicked. When I was home sick last week, in my weakened condition I watched Oprah and this woman could turn a discussion about the peril of pygmies into something about herself.

^^ Well, to be fair, I'd have to know exactly what she was comparing.
But I totally get your point. I just... see it differently, I guess. Her agenda is to save the world, but she's no expert. So she invites experts on her show and has a conversation with them and the audience. She gets excited and interrupts her guests, but she doesn't ever claim to know more than they do.
And when she relates her personal experiences to the topic at hand (ie, the perils of the pygmies, lol) it's to commiserate (so to speak) with her guests and audience. *shrug* IMHO.

You might be right but I won't admit it. She wants us all to live on Planet Oprah...stare into my eyes and come over to the dark, Oprah-hating side...

Think all the little biddys sitting home watching her TV show for free are actually going to go out and purchase an XM Radio and subscribe to the service? Hmmm....

No friggin' kidding. And it's also VERRRRRY annoying when she has a panel of experts (usually psychologists, psychiatrists or whatever) to help her guests, but halfway through SHE takes over and starts giving the advice and her panel is just reduced to sitting there, like a bunch of mutes

Look at the watch on the chain, wicked. You're feeling sleepy. When I snap my fingers, you'll realize that Oprah is a sanctimonious blowhard who will soon start referring to herself in the third person....looooook intooooooo my eeeeyyyyeeesssssss.....
*SNAP*
OK, folks, she's good to go and now is one of us.

Since when is making a sandwich "cooking"? Oooh, she can put meat on bread, what a feat!
