I didn't think Fox could sink lower in my eyes, but it has. As well, I will never, ever purchase a book published by Judith Regan ever again and if her authors have any principles, they will drop her like a hot potatoe. I can actually buy her reasoning. I was with an abuser for 8 years, and to this day, he will still NOT admit he did it. He says it was all in my mind and tells others that I am crazy or an exaggerator (despite the fact that others witnessed various levels of his abuse.)

I just fail to see how her doing this makes people so angry. To me, OJ may “reveal” something we didn’t know about the murders, but I believe it to be almost common knowledge that HE either murdered them or had a major role in it - despite what a jury of his *peers* said. Perhaps it would have been better if he had confessed, or the book been written by a criminal expert who interviewed OJ. But people have been making money and been given publicity for heinous crimes for years, and THIS type of hype usually make sales go up.

Besides, I find the whole idea of OJ describing the “idea” of murder hilarious. I love this logic. In fact it might be the greatest thing to ever happen. Soon we’ll have a guy step forward in Colorado saying, “Well I didn’t kill Jon Benet Ramsey but if I was going to this is how I would do it.” This logic sets a precedent that is just astounding to me. Imagine the possibilities when it comes to spousal arguments. “Honey I didn’t cheat on you and give you herpes, but if I was going to do it this is how it would go down.” With her response being, “Well I mean I didn’t fuck your best friend but if I did do it this is how I would have done it, gotten away with it, and then divorced you taking half. But these are all theories my dear.”

Regan is doing damage control. She knew full well this was a cash grab for OJ. She's done other very questionable things as well. She was James Frey's publisher and maintained that there was nothing with passing fiction off as fact even when it involved real people who were still very much alive.

^ The ONLY publicity he has had since the trail has been about that. Him making money off a murder that he was NOT FOUND GUILTY OF shouldnt make you mad. The fact that he was found not guilty in the first place should.

Agreed HE shouldnt get money for the book, but NICOLE's children should and the families would we also rewarded money from the civil suit should.

He was found NOT GUILTY of a crime he is presumed by the general public to have committed, he has been a complete dick to the Goldmans, and now he's about to profit from the crime. Regardless of whether or not he killed Nicole and Ron, it's low-class, evil and downright rude to write a book positing how you'd kill the mother of your children.

I'm really perplexed by your lack of understanding. I truly cannot fathom how this doesn't irk you even a little bit, especially if you think he did in fact do the murders.

Are you considering the subject matter at all? It's not the fact that he's writing a book about Nicole and Ron, HE'S WRITING A GODDAMN BOOK ABOUT HOW TO MURDER THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN AND HER FRIEND.

I have heard about this, but it is too sickening & disturbing for me to even read this article. All i have to say is, i really think that this travesty of justice (the O.J. acquittal) should really make lawmakers in this country re-think the "Double Jeopardy" law. Maybe change it so that under special circumstances--such as for example if, oh, i don't know, if an acquitted person later CONFESSES TO THE FREAKING CRIME--that person CAN be re-tried. It is just too disturbing for words, the fact that that psychopath murderer is a free man, playing golf & living a fun life of leisure & pleasure after brutally killing 2 people. I really, really think that this case should bring about change in the "You can't be tried twice for the same crime" rule.--like i said, in special circumstances. I could talk all day about this, but i'll stop here.
