Yes, that dumbass woman I worked with. I still see her occasionally here & there.
When she came back inside after the verdict, she actually jumped up & down & clapped. I just glared at her. She said "I'M SO HAPPY I'M SO HAPPY, I KNOW HE DIDN'T DOOOOOOO IT"

I remember where I was, too. I was in 10th grade and in my school's library.
I wish he'd just admit it at this point - I doubt public opinion of him could be any worse.

I was driving home from work and on my way to pick my son up from daycare. I was so sickened by it all. I do remember when they came on the tv reporting Nicole and Ron had been found murdered. My dad was having Angiplasty and they were wheeling him out of the room when he had them stop so he could listen to the news report. My first thought was "those poor kids".

I was at Walmart in the parking lot , about to go buy Colin Powells book for a xmas present and have him sign it--He was there at that Walmart... I remember everything in detail that day. And I was literally sick to my stomach when I heard the verdict on the radio.

I was in 6th grade - and why on earth a bunch of 12 year olds would understand and care about this horrendous crime is beyond me, but we did.
The verdict was to be read during my period in Social Studies, fitting I think. Our teacher, a crusty old former Marine, had told us days before that he would not be found guilty solely because the defense had played the race card, and at that point everything was too political. None of the jury wanted to task of possible starting riots and probably had reason to fear for their own safety because if they said he was guilty, they would be “wrongfully persecuting a *black* man”.
Days later, I found out he was right.

If he DID admit it there's nothing anyone could do because of the stupid double jeapardy rules (you cannot be tried for the same crime twice).

Could he face Federal charges or something for 'violating their civil rights' or something like that? Isn't that what happened to the cops who beat Rodney King? The jury in Simi Valley did nothing but they were retried on Federal charges?
I wonder if he did admit it if anything would even be done. All we would need is another racially charged, nationally televised OJ trial. Riots anyone?

I don't understand why this man can't just STFU and lay low and count his blessings for getting away scot free with brutal murders. It's not like he's hurting for money. His NFL pension alone is said to be 300,000 dollars a year, and not touchable by the civil verdict.
It sickens me to see him constantly trying to get attention and doing stupid things like making videos and whatnot. What's the point? It also sickens me seeing all these autograph hounds wanting his autograph of the juice.

OJ is unspeakable, but the publishers are equally venal. And anybody who buys this book is complicit in the murders -- they are endorsing the murders by allowing the man who committed them to profit from his crime. I will boycott this book, and if OJ was on fire, I wouldn't cross the street to spit on him. Lying, murdering, unconscionable bastard -- how come he's still not looking for his wife's murderers like he vowed he would? Maybe because he's staring at him every day in the mirror.
