She's famous because she wants to be famous. For one there's the hollywood makeover (weight loss included), and the reality tv shows and modeling "gigs".

I'd like her if she wasn't such a media attention whore. I get the feeling she has some substance and is somewhat smart, but chooses to chase fame and self-gratification instead. Vapid.
