I was just going to say that. I've been on the 134 freeway she was going the wrong way on.... and I cannot even imagine. She had to have flipped a U-turn in the middle of the freeway to get turned around the other way-- there's a divider wall between the different directions of traffic.

I hope she gets some sympathy, being a celebrity she is always in the limelight and under pressure. She has eating problems and other issues, so I hope she gets lenient punishment and a chance to get her act together again.

Realistically, it is extremely unlikely to the point of almost never that an oridinary person would go to prison for any length of time for a misdemeanor DUI. Maybe a little county jail time. Maybe. Someone might go for a felony DUI, but I'd be floored if they pulled a 10 year sentence.

If you're suggesting they should, I might be inclined to agree with you, but realistically and practically, it wouldn't happen, regardless of if it involves a celebrity.

Why do posters keep saying "just Vicodin and pot." We don't know how much Vicodin she took and as a junkie she probably took a lot to even be able to feel it. Vicodin is a derivative of opium which is used to manufacture her drug of choice, heroin. If she isn't already she'll be using heroin again soon.

I agree it's a pretty serious offense with potentially fatal consequences.

To celeb_2006, there's no need to hope they'll be lenient on her. Her being a high profile celebrity takes care of that. If anything, we should be hoping they don't just let her off the hook with a slap on the wrist for something serious like this.
