Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
Maybe if he gets it he'll make it a point to do something *special* with it. I agree that this is about sticking it the Simpsons, not actually supporting himself. This guy would not be above taking whatever job he had to if it actually came to supporting himself. He appears to have a pretty good work ethic.

Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
I wish that Nick had been the one to file for divorce, and cited "fraud." Because when he married Jessica, I'm sure he wasn't aware that to her it was just another seedy business deal for the Simpson family. Maybe that's the reason that Jessica was so desperate to beat him to it!

Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
I forget which of mags it is, but their latest issue has a story about her cheating on Nick with Adam Levine back in 2004 before the stripper scandal or any supposed cheating on Nick's part. If this is true, then Nick deserves to take her to the cleaners. She checked out of the marriage long ago.

Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
As far as I'm concerned Nick made Jessica what she is. Without him, there would be no Newlyweds show. She sold us an image of a wholesome Christian girl and because of that image they had the Christmas show, the Tv series, and of course her line of body desserts. I hope he takes her butt to the cleaners and gets more than half because she spends money like water. Why should she get to blow through all the money while he tries to save it.
I will be surprised that in 5 years she will still be hot and popular. I bet she will become a has been and quite possible Nick will regain some of his fame that was preJessica.

Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
Someone name me 3 mainstream actresses who are under 30 and considered as talented as Meryl Streep or Faye Dunaway were when they were in their 20's. And looks can't have anything to do with it. I can't think of one!

Re: Nick Lachey asks for spousal support and return of jewelry.
I personally would just walk and not ask for any money
However I think its pretty funny that Nick originally wanted a pre nup and Jessica refused...at least thats what EXTRA 2-22-06 says.
