Yeah, and I'm sure his little "hobby"cost him more too. Dogfighting is big business.
I laugh at the 350k fine though, what's that like $10.00 to him?![]()

If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning
Yeah, I just dont get it - like WHY would he feel the need to do this? Not for the money that is for sure. And I would say the Feds usually dont file charges w/out lots of evidence, especially in a high-profile case like this so there is probably real truth to it.
As to the sentence, have you seen what Child Molesters and rapists get for sentences versus what a kid w/a bag of pot gets? Lots of injustices in the justice system that are carried out w/out media attention every damn day.![]()
Money can't buy happiness but it can certainly rent it for a couple of hours.
Too much time and money on his hands. Money can't buy you heart because this guy sure doesn't have one. You have to hit him where it hurts - money, money, money. He has no regard for life of any kind.
Into the sunrise. The sunset is sad to me….it only means the night is coming.
The indictment stated there was normally $23,000.00 bet on each fight but several times it was only $100.00. Like someone said, he didn't do this for the money which make even more of a sick bastard because he actually got a thrill from watching such horror. Asshole. I hope he burns in hell.
I'm all for this kind of justice!! Hell, I'd like to sell seats and take bets on this. I'd like to fill my pockets with the winnings and give it right back to the people and the organizations that are fighting this shit.
On a side note, I know he deserves his day in court, but MV and dogfighting is a well known fact. It has been for several years. I know people that know plenty of people in the NFL and apparently this has been an open secret for a few years.
Pit Bulls are status symbols for thugs, much like Chihuahuas are for *socialites*.
He may be rich as hell, but he's no better than a street thug. I hope they make a huge example out of his sorry ass.
Perfectly said Sweetness.

Thats horrible, as a pet owner it makes me sick to hear something like this...
Per today's cnn story, there's allegedly eyewitness evidence that Vick participated in the killing of least eight dogs - so much for his innocence. The willingness of professional sports organizations to provide sanctuary for common thugs like this appauls me - they're no better than the Catholic Church shielding pedophile clergy members (BTW - I am Catholic). The deafening, repetitive protestations that he's innocent until proven guilty (albeit true) coming from ESPN, the National Football League and the Atlanta Falcons speak volumes about their position on this incident (yeah, we know he’s probably guilty, but we can’t punish him, he’s an industry cash cow) The only thing more reprehensible, are the fans willing to turn a blind eye to this sort of behavior and even justify it (“they’re only dogs – see ESPN message boards) in the name of sitting their lazy asses in front of a television screen to experience the rush of living vicariously through someone else's accomplishments (and in this of professional athletes I use the term accomplishment very loosely - at the end of the day catching or throwing a football is a pretty useless talent) and being able to brag "Yeah, man, we're number one" at the water cooler Monday morning.
If you find Mr. Vick’s behavior unacceptable, hit the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons where it hurts – their wallets. I contacted the Home Depot (they own the naming rights to the Falcons stadium and Arthur Blank one of Home Depot's founders is now an owner of the Falcons) and told them that not only would I be ending my long standing relationship with their stores, but that three of my friends and I have initiated a phone campaign encouraging everyone we know to do the same. Spend your money elsewhere!
Thanks for the info baddoggy.
I wish someone will take a prodder at him so that he knows what it feels like.
Sweetness, i totally agree with your posts, it's not really about the money in his case (we all know he as more than enough of it), it's simply the thrill of watching
two dogs tear at each other and sometimes resulting in death of one of the dogs that gives the 'high'. He is SICK and needs professional help.
What they just described in the article to me is what someone will find in the
basement of Hannibal Lecter.
To those nitwits that think they are just dogs, i would love for one of them to volunteered to be put in the rape stand and see if they will still have the same
tune after the experience.
I agree with baddoggy. As an Atlantan and long-time Home Depot customer, I have just emailed Home Depot to tell them I will no longer shop in their stores until Mr. Blank shows he is not just concerned with ticket sales and merchandising.
