What is this event that you're talking about? A rodeo? Or some event in which the purpose is to kill the bull?

Well, at least people die every year, I guess? I don't know the history of it, so maybe I'll go check it out. I've always wanted to go run away from bulls thru the streets of Pamplona (?) because it'd be a real thrill, but damn! I didn't know there was abuse involved...

I think rodeos are cruel and unnecessary, too. It's just another chance for a bunch of swaggering assholes to feel superior.

That's a shame about rodeos. Cuz it's fun to see how long those bullriders can stay on! I've fantasized about having a mechanical bull in my home for yeeeears...
