Re: Madonna and Guy Richie's marriage trouble gets deeper and deeper
I don't always wear my engagement rings either. I don't see it as meaning I am about to split from my man.

Isn't that what they do in Hollyweird to keep you in the tabs? I think there is a list somewhere that tells them all the things they have to do to keep the paps WANTING to take their pictures.

How on earth do you *forget* to wear your wedding ring? Unless it's just so huge and hideously ostentatious (like most celeb bling) that it's uncomfortable on your hand. In 8 years mine rarely ever comes off my hand.

How do you forget? Easy.... If you take it off when you go in the shower or bath ... whilst doing housework ..... whilst writing .... during sex ..... whilst putting on handcream ....when washing your hair .... when putting on fake tan or having any beauty treatment .... or even when you just go to bed, I never wear any jewellery in bed. Also sometimes peple can't wear their wedding rings to work.
It's easy to "*forget*" it wear it

Re: Madonna and Guy Richie's marriage trouble gets deeper and deeper
She is rehearsing for her show, and it looks like she has lost some weight. Actually, she looks awful in that picture. Maybe the ring slipped off her finger and up.....oh, never mind.....or maybe she thought her lovely, lovely hands didn't need any further adornment.
Actually, I am not ashamed to admit that I love Madonna. I have seen most of her tours and each was fantastic. I have seen many, many concerts in my 44 years (yes, I too will pushing up posies any day now...). But I have not seen any artist work harder to put on the best possible show and please her fans. And quite frankly, I am very grateful for all the dance music she has given us. But talent, taste and perception is very subjective. What amazes me is that she has remained quite popular when virtually everyone you talk to hates her.
Do I think she is a God? No. Do I give a rats ass about her religious beliefs? No. Do I think she always looks good? Hell no. Shit, even Crackho has her bad days. But I just slap on a wig, pop in my teet and go on about my business. I just hope my ass looks as good as hers when I'm 48. And I certainly can't wait for all you youngsters to reach your mid 40's. If you take any type of care of yourselves, you will be far from being ready to throw in the towel just because of a stupid number.
One thing - I can honestly say that girlfriend looks a LOT better in person than she does in candid photos. She doesn't look as hard. OK, you can all start blasting me now.....I can....'sniff'....take it....

Re: Madonna and Guy Richie's marriage trouble gets deeper and deeper
With regard to the wedding ring comments ... lots of women nowadays don't even bother with a ring. I personally know a couple of married women who never wear theirs. I don't think I would wear one either ... I don't really like rings. They make my fingers look funny.

And there was a time when he got tired of being the housewife.
I would be more than happy to let you lead my way, Guy...

Re: Madonna and Guy Richie's marriage trouble gets deeper and deeper
She has got to be my absolutley hands down least favorite celebrity. I think she is a fugly talentless whore, although she is a genius at marketing herself. And I'm 35, so I have seen all her "stages." Poor Guy, he seems like a nice guy. Oh, and the second I walk in my door my wedding ring comes off, so I could *see* not wearing it, although if I was a celeb and my marriage was being speculated about I would try to remember it.

Re: Madonna and Guy Richie's marriage trouble gets deeper and deeper
I guess I can see now the several reasons mentioned why people would remove their rings. But why not just get a ring that's comfy enough that you can wear it and not even think about it? Like a regular band?
