I have seen groups of adolescents compete for weight loss and who can eat the least. I have met adolescent girls who say they are thinking about "turning bulimic or anorexic" but they have not decided which one yet. When you have someone on a strict calorie count and force them to eat 100% and give them a time limit in which to eat and make them stay seated throughout, it is pretty obvious who has food issues and who does not. If only we could do that to Nicole. She has an eating disorder. She and her daddy may not want to call it Anorexia, but that is still what it is.
I'd be interested to know who this 'doctor' was. If a podiatrist can call himself Dr, then I'm sure there's plenty of other so-called experts out there who will gladly tell you what you want to hear, especially if you are paying them $$$.

This TRULY angers me. 1000's of girls and even women see stuff like this and think, "well, since her doctor says she's not anorexic I certainly must not be either." What she is doing to herself is NOT healthy and it makes tons of girls want to be like her. I think that doctor is full of SH*T, personally. So, so sad. I wish she would at LEAST just recognize that she has an eating disorder---think of how many other girls she could help if she just comes out of the closet about it.
