Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
I read in the News that both Jane Fonda and Felicity Hoffman are majorly pissed at her and don't believe her little "exhaustion excuse" either. Pretty soon establish stars are going to turn down movies because Lindsay is in it.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
When she can't be insured because of her unprofessional behavior, things will get really ugly. No insurance = no work. Same thing happened to Robert Downey, Jr.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
I saw pics of Lindsay out again at The Ivy partying last night....
You'd think she'd at least stay home for ONE DAMN NIGHT after something like this latest controversy.
I remember an interview with Lindsay a few months back in which she complained that she's not taken as seriously as the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, and Ann Hathaway, even though they're all about the same age as her. Ummm, Lindsay, I think we have our answer. They actually show up to the set, hun.
There's a MAJOR problem when a studio boss actually allows an angry letter about your behavior to become public like that.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
It was the photos where she is modeling the suitsuits in private. That looks like a leak from a source at party taking the pics.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
BURBANK, Calif. (July 29, 2006) -- Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, spoke exclusively to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush about the harsh letter Lindsay received from a studio executive and comes to her defense.
The interview airs on Access Hollywood, Monday, July 31, 2006.
Earlier this week, Lindsay received a letter from the CEO of the production company on her current project, "Georgia Rule," scolding her for her "…irresponsible and unprofessional" actions. In response to the letter, Dina told Bush, "The wording was ridiculous." When asked if she thought the executive, James G. Robinson, was out of line and what brought on the unprecedented blast, Dina said, "I feel when you are 19 (years old) it is way out of line… Maybe he has personal issues with whomever and it came out with my child. I don't know him. I can't judge him. I don't think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."
When asked if there was any truth to claims in the letter, Dina came to her daughter's defense saying, "Lindsay was in 105 (degree weather) saying, 'Mommy, I feel sick; like I am going to faint.' She took herself to the hospital. She has asthma and in extreme cold or heat you can't breathe."
Dina added, "…I'm a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child…I don't feel it should be aired out and everyone should know. It's personal."
When asked about accusations in the letter that Lindsay's "…ongoing all night heavy partying" was responsible for her not showing up on set, Dina said, "Lindsay gets to work late, OK… She's a human being. There was one day when she was late and they worked the schedule around her. Garry (Marshall, the film's director), Jane (Fonda, her co-star), everybody loves her."
In regards to Lindsay's status, Dina told Access Hollywood, "As far as Lindsay's health is concerned, she's fine and she is back on set." Dina added to Bush, "She will win an Academy Award for this picture… Justice!"

When I was underage my mommy used to take me to the clubs and snort coke off toilet seats with me too!
Then this one time she let me stay at this washed up rock stars house and like I was so drunk I fell down the stairs. We told everybody I cut myself on a teacup the next morning.
Mommy also helps me with my diet. I want to be skinny like my bestest friend Nicole so she makes sure I only eat 4 grapes a day-and I drink plenty of water cuz it's like really good for you. Oh and she buys me cigarettes to curb the hunger!
She's the coolest! She even let me get fake boobies at 17 cuz my body looked all weird and shit!
Wanna see my firecrotch? Betcha didn't know you could get freckles there! Lotsa people know now!

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
OMG, there are so many things wrong with her statement.
Personally, I don't think you can consider someone a "child" anymore when they go into 21 year old clubs, are seen with multiple guys and talk about their inability to remain with one guy, are seen at a party with a bunch of 40 year old Hwood players and are only wearing a swimsuit, or when they are known to snort a ton of coke while doing all of the above.
And who in teh F calls their mom "mommy" at that age? It seems to me Dina is pissed because this guy is telling Linds what her mom should have AGES ago.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
I'm 22 and I still call my mom "mommy"
But she says as long as I am responsible for myself and handle myself like an adult, it really doesn't make any difference to her. Unlike Lindsay's mom, she expects me to take responsibility for my own actions, and if I acted like Lindsay and it affected my job, she would call me out and tell me to get my shit together way before any employer would have to write some letter like that to me.

Well, I do hope that this will force her into rehab. She will soon be unemployed and jobless.

Good. Any teenage girl with a makeup job could "act" better than her.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
I think a big part of Lindsey's problem is her mother - or any parent who actually defends that kind of behavior. I've read many interviews with her Mom and she thinks Lindsey can do no wrong. She's a spoiled brat - a young diva!
I applaud that CEO for taking a stand and saying "I'm not taking this bullshit." I wish more would do the same. And I love that the letter went public. It gave credence to exactly what we all suspected. It had to humiliate Lindsey a great deal to have to get 'mommy' to do her talking.
It's so funny how these young 'starlett's' think they're all that and evidently old enough to run the roads and party all night, but as soon as they're in shit, they suddenly revert back to being a child and run to their parents for support.

Re: Lindsay Lohan's New Problems
That mother is nuts. If she had any other job she would have been fired long ago. People working on her film would have been fired for that behavior. Why does being 19 excuse that rudeness? Also why aren't these clubs being firned or shut down for letting her in? This might send a message to the other clubs and shut down her public partying. Someone needs to be responsible since neither she or her mother are.

I believe it is called enabling. Sounds as though she may have done it with her husband, too.
