there is nothing strange about her being close friends with her bodyguard. he is one of the constants in her life after all. he is always there looking after her. when her night of partying is over, it is her bodyguard who (proverbially) tucks her in. when she's ready to go out again the next day, it's her bodyguard who is there to escort her. if they didn't like each other, i imagine he would've been fired by now.
just because someone is on your payroll doesn't mean you can't develop genuine feelings of affection and friendship with them. just think of batman and alfred.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make.
I just felt it was sad that her first visitor appeared to be her bodyguard & not a family member.

They spent every waking minute together, so even he's on her payroll, he's probably a close friend aswell.
I feel for her, and I hope she gets her act together, I really do.

So where are all the hipsters who partied with her and turned her into a drug addicted zombie? Where's Samantha Ronson? Where's Patrick Aufdenkamp? Tipping off the paps, I guess.

They're probably in the helicopter taking the pics, which they promptly sold to the tabs.

I'm the pessimistic type, but I don't think she actually likes the guy, I think he brought her some of her "water".

^^Grey! Have faith in my La Lohan! I'm telling you, she'll get clean, make a come back, put out a great film, win an award, slide back down into drugs, go to rehab, make a comeback, win an award, slide back down the slippery path and on and on and on. As long as she doesn't die along the way, I say she has a good 40 year career ahead of her.

I've had horrible friends in the past...so I can really relate to getting sold out by my 'friends' - I drove down the drug road too - so I went where I KNOW I am cared for and loved - HOME. Since her mom appears to have her head up her ass & can't provide that peace of mind to her CHILD & if this is who supports her and cares for her then I am happy for her. The world can be extremely cold when you're in the spotlight & no one thinks of you as a person only a paycheck - I hope this helps her.
I still think she's wild as hell but she's 20
