No she didn't. Her parents had bucks. Look at her bio on Wikipedia. Her old man was a big shot on Wall Street and her mother was a Radio City Rockette.

Is she hadn't bought into her own ego and was still humble, but used drugs and partied too much, I'd feel sorry for her. Unfortunately, she comes across as a total bitch. I find her moderately talented. If she indeed is not the selfish cunt she seems to be, I feel it's sad she is going down in flames, right in front of America.

I still have no sympathy for her. We're all given choices in life. If anyone has seen the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness", they know that if you have the drive and determination, anyone can overcome adversity. Instead Lindsay chose to follow the same path many Hollywood folk do. They forget that they're 'it' one day and a 'has been' the next.

She already had a wake up call when that studio chief called her on her work ethic in a written later. That could have been her second chance. Instead she's since gone from bad to worse. Nothing but drama, drama, drama. Sure she has talent, but so do a lot of others banging on Hollywood doors waiting to be discovered. It's just a matter of time before she's off the radar, if she's not already.

I don't know about Wikipedia, but I saw an interview with her when she was promoting Freaky Friday. She said she had been the family breadwinner for some time. They talked about the pressure on her, to be in that situation. I've also read that Michael Lohan was habitually unemployed. When he did have money, he spent it on coke and gambling. Dina was a Rockette but I thought that was a one time thing. So all in all, cokehead dad, famewhore mom, she hasn't had the greatest upbringing. She is talented and I hope she pulls it together.

She shouldn't have ever hung out with Paris Hilton, that bitch probably lives by 'keep your enemies close' and was out to ruin her. Notice how Paris always keeps it together while her 'friends' (tara, lindsay, britney, nicole, brandon davis) are public wrecks.

^^ I hear that. The only incriminating photos of her are the ones she's taken (or had taken) herself. And what's up w/ all the drug photos?? It's like she's begging to get caught. Maybe it's a cry for help.

That's true. I'm amazed that she's managed to keep all that under wraps. I've read that when she goes out, she doesn't get completely wasted like Lilo or Britney, so maybe that's helped her.
