Unfortunately we've got at least 15 more months of Lindsay Lohan. I wouldn't be surprised if it were 15 years.

I wouldnt be suprised if someone dug up some records of hers that revealed that she had her appendix taken out years ago... then what excuse is her PR going to make??
I know its probably not possible because your left with a scar but that would be so funny if it happened. Plus anything is possible in the wacky world of Lindsey Lohan

My appendix blew up when I was 6, I was in the hospital for 10 days- there's no way I can imagine someone running around after getting it taken out. I heard it was microscopic surgery and all but man, bad memories, even if it were a quickie procedure you'd think she'd be quietly recuperating at home.
She could risk infection being in clubs and public places. (not like she cares but...)

YES! Heidi Montag from The Hills. She's pregnant too. I posted it in the First-Hand celeb rumors thread.

I think Lindsay probably had an abortion. She's looked kind of bloated in recent pictures, but maybe that's from all the booze.

I had my appendix out as a kid, and couldn't get to the washroom for at least 3 days. That being said, my appendectomy was back in the stone age. The proceedure is more advanced now. I hear that there are soem techniques that don't even require an incision. They just slip in some hollow surgical tubing, and suck it out.

Time to play devil's advocate..lol.
I had my appendix out in 2000, when I was 23. I was discharged after a 24 hour hospital stay, I had it done laproscopically, and had 3 teeny incisions, and no stitches. I was a hard-partier back then, so I went out with the girls on a Friday night, after getting home Wednesday morning. While, I was sore the day after, I could have went out that night, but instead, I stayed home and popped vicodins like skittles.

For what it is worth - I had my appendix removed last year and I am a little more than twice Lohan's age. It was done laproscopically. I had symptoms so they scheduled the removal for 2 days later since it did not appear to be ready to burst. I left less than 24 hours after surgery and drove myself to the grocery store the next day. It was no big deal since I was not sliced open. This article shows she came out of the hospital and then yelled for an assistant when she saw the paps. It is misleading to say she was out running around town.
With Lap surgery you don't even have stiches. I had 3 small incisions - the largest was just about an inch and they covered them with steri-strips and sent me on my way.

I had a gyni-laparoscopy in July. In through the belly-button (& just above the bikini line in my case) but i had stitches not steri-strips, one day stay (with a general anisthetic) - home that night & I was f-l-y-i-n-g for 24 hours!!!
Then it all came tumbling down.... but hey, I'm twice her age & have twice as much sense!!!
Hum... she's not exactly running around but she's obviously delirious as she's talking to herself reminding herself to be decent as her new years resolution......

Even with an abortion you feel not great the next day. I've had a number of D&Cs, not for abortion reasons but for problems with my cycle, and I never felt like running the streets the next day.
WTF did she have done that would allow her to be 'normal' the next day?

Maybe she's so accustomed to being effed up that minor surgery doesn't affect her anymore.

Yeah why is she covering her face? She said to the photog "have a little decency it's a new year".
