I think the guy is just showing off the fact that she IS his daughter. Nothing more than that...and I think there is nothing wrong with that. He fought long and hard for her and he should have never had to do that. It's a "HA" to everyone that doubted him.
After all that hooplah about the exuberant pics from him finding out he WAS the daddy, I thought he was entitled to exuberance. But that shirtless pic is weird, IMO. I hope the publicity madness ends, and the poor kid gets a semi-normal life.
i just see this as Larry finally getting to show off his little girl. He's happy and proud and wants to show the world. I don't see this as pimping. They've both been surrounded by media for months, and this is just his way of finally getting to show us a positive side to this whole circus. Let's remember that Larry had been fighting to be a part of Dannielynn's life since the day she was born, even before Anna's death. Let's give the guy a break, what Anna and Howard tried to do to him (steal his right to be a daddy) is despicable. Not every guy in the world tries to run from his responsiblilties as a father.
If I owed a lawyer $600K I'd being doing all I could to get some money. The guy is only a photographer. Give him a break. Besides, he seems to be quite sincere about his baby.
I also hope that Larry changes "Dannielynn's" name. Does anyone else think that it just screams "white trash"?
Not to offend people with the name "Dannielynn" but it's not the best name in the book - far from it. It's a far cry from Hannah Rose, her original name.

I am so happy for Larry and have wanted to see pics of him with his daughter. I am glad he did this photo shoot but do hope it doesn't become something he does often. Next he will "write" a book about his experience and then should just go quietly raise his daughter.
Larry is an example for many others to follow. In this day and age we have too many men shirking responsibility for their children, like Eddie Murphy. There are too many Dads who are in their kids lives and then abandon them when the relationship with the Mom ends. Larry has shown that real men fight for their kids and step to the plate. He did it before there was a real chance of him ever getting custody. He did it knowing full well that he would mostly likely not have custody and would have to pay support. He did it knowing that any money ANS had would stay with her, not the baby or him. ANS passing away just added a whole new crazy element. In hindsight it is probably what is best for the baby. She didn't have much of a chance with ANS. I was struck in the photos by how cute and chubby her little legs are. In previous shots her legs were little sticks. I'd hate to think it was true but perhaps ANS was obsessed with keeping the baby thin and "sexy"?
