I can't understand why people *STILL* are giving Birkhead a hard time. Some of y'all haters were going on and on about how he's not the real dad, he's an attention whore, blah blah blah... And, now that you've been proven wrong (he IS the baby daddy) you *STILL* gotta bad-mouth the guy? For shame! I guess some of you are even more jaded than I am.

So I'm just gonna sit back and see how the rest of this plays out over the next few years. My prediction? Birkhead will love and care for his child as any good, dutiful father should.

After all of the unnecessary bullshit he had to go through to even get anyone to acknowledge that the baby was his, I think that he's earned the right to flaunt it a little.

The photos are sweet, tastefully done, and of interest to a large number of people. He might also legitimately need the money to pay off that greedy, unprofessional joke of a lawyer, Debra Opri. It would make my day to see her disbarred for that bill. I wonder how many other clients she's cheated out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I also hope that Larry changes "Dannielynn's" name. Does anyone else think that it just screams "white trash"?

There is nothing in the California Rules of Professional Conduct that states an attorney can be or should be disbarred for overcharging a client. If that were true, 98% of attorneys would be disbarred. But I can certainly understand how you feel. Debra Opri started out behaving very professionally and *lost it* 70% of the way through that mess. I'll bet part of the falling out had to do with Larry witnessing all her travel and other perks, knowing his account would eventually be billed.

Generally disbarment is imposed as a sanction for conduct indicating that an attorney is fit to practice law, such as being convicted of a felony, willfully disregarding the interests of a client, or engaging in fraud which impedes the administration of justice.
