To tell you the truth... I couldn't have told you what team he was on, or anything else about him, although, I think I remember reading on here that he dated Jessica Biel for a short time.

He is known more for his pretty eye colour than anything else, I think

Since the whole subject of ORAL herpes -v- GENITAL herpes seems to cause people so much confusion, can we make it GR policy to specify exactly which type of herpes we are talking about?

99% of us has the ORAL herpes (cold sore) virus although we may never experience the symptoms.

1 in 8 Australians (dunno the US stats) has GENITAL herpes which is quite different.

I expect tons of people in Hollyweird to have genital herpes (they all screw each other) but this revelation about the general population is frightening.....

Unless everyone in America was tested for genital herpes, how is that fact?

How do they come up with those numbers?

I don't have genital herpes and I've never had a coldsore. I guess I'm pretty elite.

About 1 in 7 have herpes in the general population and apparently in LA it is more like 1 in 3 or 4. So beautiful people hanging out in Hollyweird are essentially viral cesspools.

Interesting fact...some people's immune systems fight off the virus and so they don't contract it even when exposed. People who have never had a cold sore probably won't contract the genital virus or so the theory goes.

It is an inherited trait...survival of the fittest if you will. Probably not unlike 10-15 percent of the European population who are immune to HIV. They think it has something to do with the black plague epidemic. Originally thought to be caused by a bacteria is now theorized to have been a virus not unlike the spanish flu. Anyway...the people who survived had some sort of enhanced immune response and then went on to pass the gene along that could possibly confer the immunity to HIV.

For the record, I have never had a cold sore either nor have I ever developed genital herpes. You have to have lesions that can then be tested so if you don't develop them you can't really be tested. I dated a guy who had herpes and never, ever did I have any hint or question that I had contracted it. We dated for four plus years. Fact remains that no one in my immediate family has ever had a cold sore either. They say that if you are going to get one it would show up in early childhood. I don't think anyone in my extended family has had one either...at least not one that I have witnessed. The ex and all of his 10 siblings had all had cold sores starting in childhood.

They conducted a study at the University of Colorado a few years back and it is well documented that some people just have evolved immune systems that prevent the virus from surviving.

Ooh, careful about that. I don't think that's been proven and some people may misinterpret it as fact.

Yes...I don't think I've ever shared utensils . I'm not even fond of sharing my lipgloss/stick And no, I'm not overweight either. Can I ask who FF is
