Pals say Kevin had been desperately hoping to make peace again after the latest row — so he could celebrate with Britney on her 24th birthday yesterday.

One added: “Their relationship has been very stormy since she gave birth, but so far they have always managed to patch things up.

“They both still love each other, but it remains to be seen if they can patch up their problems.”

A spokesman for Britney refused to comment.

I seriously doubt that he has ever loved anyone but himself. He probably saw a mealticket in Britney. Hopefully the girl is wising up.

Did anyone see the latest pics around some boards of Kev's car being towed back to the dealership? Of course how do they know it's his but it sure looks funny after reports of their fight. I don't know if any woman here ever felt like after having a child, you'd take the child over the hubby (boyfriend) any day. Maybe Brit is finally realizing Kevin can fend for himself but the lil one is an innocent in all of the mess and the kid needs at least one responsible parent!
